After you request the dates and the condo you want, then . . . 

  • You have one week to pay the $100 deposit if your are a new guest. The deposit applies toward your rent.

  • If you are a returning guest with normal reservation and payment history no deposit is required, see details below.

  • You can register and pay the $100 by:
          1.  Credit card online, or
          2.  Credit card by phone, or
          3.  Personal check in the mail

  • Your name is then listed on the web site.

  • The rent is payable 30 days prior to your visit. The tax rate is 11.5%.

  • You can pay the rent by:
          1.  Credit card online, or
          2.  Credit card by phone, or
          3.  Personal check in the mail.

  • We then send you a Welcome Letter with details, directions, key location, etc.

  • Check in after 4:00 pm, check out by 10:00 am.

DOLLARHIDE CONDOS RENTAL POLICIES

  • PRIORITY: Reservations are always given to first guest making request.

  • AVAILABLE NIGHTS: A CALENDAR date with WHITE background is AVAILABLE that night.

  • NOT AVAILABLE NIGHTS: A CALENDAR date with RED background is booked & is not available that night. 

  • ARRIVAL: Plan your trip ARRIVAL on a WHITE date.  Arrive after 4:00 PM. You will have received instructions on the key pickup location.

  • DEPARTURE: Plan your trip DEPARTURE by 10:00 AM on EITHER a white date OR a red date that is the FIRST day of the next guests stay (You leave in the morning, they arrive in the afternoon).

  • DEPARTURE CLEANING: These are clean, well maintained condos. Guests are not expected to clean the unit on departure but are expected to leave the unit in normal condition, ready for a normal cleaning and the following guest. If any extraordinary cleaning or repair is required the guest acknowledges approval for the owners to bill the costs to the credit card on file for the rental without challenge.

  • DEPOSIT: A deposit of $100 is required of all first time guests booking daily and weekly rental. The deposit is applied to your rent. Winter multi-month guest deposit is 50% of first month and is due each year when making reservation.

  • RETURNING GUESTS: No security deposit required for returning guests normal history. Returning guests with a history of cancellations or late payment are asked to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit.

  • CANCELLATION/REFUNDS: If you cancel your reservation you will receive a deposit and rent refund if the cancellation is 45 days or more before your arrival date, except for winter monthly rentals.  If the cancellation is after 45 days you will receive a deposit and rent refund if the week is reserved by another guest.  Winter multi-month rental deposits are refundable only when the unit is rented to another guest. After cancellation the deposit and rent is held pending rental of the unit. If rented the deposit and rent is refunded. If not the held deposit and rent will be held as a credit towards future rentals.

  • SUMMER MINIMUM: Summer season rental dates are noted on the reservation calendar, are by the week only and begin and end on Saturday.

  • SUMMER MINIMUM EXCEPTIONS: If a summer week is not booked within ten days of starting  then it becomes available for daily rental at the summer rate divided by seven.

  • WINTER MINIMUM: Winter minimum is two months.  Click HERE for more details.

  • FALL/SPRING MINIMUM: Daily rental is available as shown in the Fall and Spring with a two night minimum stay.

  • SMOKING: These are NO SMOKING units. Violations will result in forfeiture of deposit and other related service charges.

  • MINIMUM AGE: These are condos for FAMILIES AND ADULTS 25 and over.   These are not party condos.  No units will be rented to vacationing students or unmarried adults under 25 unaccompanied by a parent in the unit the entire stay. Guests making reservations under false pretenses or causing complaints by building residents will be evicted and will forfeit security deposits and rent. They will also be liable and herewith approve the unit owners reimbursement for extraordinary costs related to cleaning and repair by charging the credit card on file for same expenses.

  • MAXIMUM GUESTS: See unit descriptions.  Exceeding the maximum is grounds for eviction without refund.  Exceptions for children and infants are available and must be requested prior to arrival.

  • PETS: Pets allowed on a limited basis and must be approved by the owner. Contact Bill by telephone.

  • ADVANCE PAYMENT: Advance payment in full for vacation property rental is normal, whether renting from agencies or individuals.

  • HURRICANES: If a hurricane is directly threatening the area you will receive a 100% refund of rent and deposit.

  • KEYS, VEHICLE PASSES & GATE CARDS: Guests should leave these items in the condo on departure.  Replacement costs for missing items will be billed to guest.

  • MAINTENANCE & HOUSEKEEPING NEEDS: Call Bill and the appropriate solution will be dispatched ASAP.

  • BEACH TOWELS: Bring your own.  This is the one linen item not provided.

  • BEHAVIOR: Guests must respect your neighbor's right to quiet, especially at night. Many are full-time residents.

  • NOTICE: This web site is for booking our three personal condominiums only. We are not a resource for other properties at Seascape or the Destin area.
